At this time we are only able to work with families residing in the Maryland, District of Columbia and Virginia region. If you live outside of this area but plan on moving into the region please contact our office prior to completing an application.

Since the majority of infants that we place are Black, we strongly encourage families who are interested in adopting a Black infant to apply.

Adoptions Together uses a secure online client portal, MyAdoptionPortal (MAP), for our applications, home studies, and other adoption processes.  If you have an existing MyAdoptionPortal account, please login below.

If you are a new client applying for a home study or a home study and placement:
If you do not have a MyAdoptionPortal account, you can create one by completing and submitting the form below. You will receive an email with your username and a temporary password. (If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your spam filter. This message will be titled “Welcome to Adoptions Together” and will come from Adoptions Together Support mapadmin@adoptionstogether.org). Once you log in, accept the terms & conditions and create your secure password, please view the intro video on the home page and then begin your application.

If you are an existing client applying for a new home study or a new home study and placement:
If you have previously completed a home study with Adoptions Together and wish to complete another home study or home study and placement, please DO NOT create a MyAdoptionPortal account. Instead, please contact Jessica Ostrander at jostrander@adoptionstogether.org. We will import all of your previous files into our new online system, create your new account for you, and connect you with the application.
