International Adoption Program  Guatemala
As of March 13 we are putting a temporary moratorium on the acceptance of new applicants for the Guatemala program. If you are interested in this program we encourage you to make contact with one of our staff members so we can keep you appraised of the status of the program.
 The Children in Need of Adoption
.jpg) Infant and toddler boys and girls are in need of adoption. Most of the children are of Mayan (native American) or mixed Mayan/Spanish descent. Most of the children we have placed are infants relinquished at birth.
All of the infant children that we place are in foster care and receive good care. Children receive regular medical care and immunizations. We also work with a new orphanage in Guatemala City that provides very good care to older children. Healthy children and children with special medical needs may be adopted. A medical examination, including tests for HIV and Hepatitis B is provided.
