Interim Care Providers
We are looking for loving families who are able to provide short term care to our newborns before they are placed with their adoptive families. Interim care providers must have one stay at home parent and a current foster care home study which our Agency will provide. Providers receive a stipend of $25 per day to cover costs. Director of Development
Adoptions Together is committed to supporting families for all children in need, without regard to race, religion, or disability, by providing the highest quality child placement services, lifelong guidance to children and their families and advocacy for best practices in child welfare systems.
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Development to be responsible for raising at least $500,000 in annual contributed revenue for a nonprofit, child placement agency. This individual will develop and monitor individual fundraising goals and budget, lead marketing and public relations efforts, and regularly report on achievements of objectives to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors.
The Director of Development will be capable of raising funds through annual giving and major gift campaigns among individuals and corporations as well as through grants. Must also be able to develop and manage special fundraising events and volunteers. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible and committed to the AT mission with a "can-do" attitude. Must have strong leadership, administrative, supervisory skills, the ability to communicate effectively and be proficient using development databases and the Microsoft suite of products including Excel. The ability to think and work independently, prioritize, and problem solve is essential. Experience managing people and team building is essential. Prefer candidate with knowledge of and familiarity with public child welfare system, foster care, adoption and mental health. Excellent benefit package and competitive salary.
Five years of increasingly responsible fundraising experience including a proven track record in donor development and project management.
