Counseling Services

The Post Permanency Family Center offers individual, family, and group counseling services to all eligible clients, especially those dealing with adoption or guardianship and family-related issues.

Our caring professionals are all culturally competent, adoption therapists with specialized training in attachment issues. They will provide short-term, time-limited counseling to children and their families with the goal of maintaining permanency for children.

When it is deemed necessary, the Post Permanency Family Center staff will refer clients to other therapists in the community. Over 100 therapists (all of whom take Medicaid) have been trained by Adoptions Together attachment specialists in attachment theory.

Counseling services are available
weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays
