Do You Need Help with an Unplanned Pregnancy?
Speak with an adoption counselor and discover your options
With an unplanned pregnancy there is suddenly more information to process than you may be able to cope with. Unfortunately many women feel like they are left alone in the decision and a number of birth fathers struggle to find a role in the process.
At Adoptions Together, we recognize that there are unique challenges for every person involved in the adoption process, especially the birth parents. There is no simple choice when it comes to your child, but you don’t have to make those choices on your own.
Coping With Unplanned Pregnancy
This is a difficult time filled with stress and confusion. An Adoptions Together counselor will provide the education, support, and assistance necessary to help you explore all of your options. From there you can make an educated decision.
At Adoptions Together, our counselors do not attempt to persuade you in any direction. They do not encourage specific routes or decisions for you. A counselor is provided to help you understand the options you have, and the impact of each decision.

How to Deal With Unplanned Pregnancy
As you weigh your options you may be dealing with feelings of inadequacy, guilt, anger, regret, and more. It’s important that you understand these feelings are natural for any birth mother, but especially those who have an unplanned pregnancy. Every woman copes in a different way, and you may find it harder than others to decide what course to take.
A counselor with Adoptions Together can help you cope with your circumstances and work through your emotions so that you are comfortable with your decision.
Our primary adoption counselor for birth mothers, Jessica Taylor, is available to work with any expectant parent who needs to make sense of her unplanned pregnancy. Our counseling services are available to all women and couples who need assistance weighing their options. We aim to help you make the best decision possible for you and your child, regardless of the choice you want to make.
- We provide various local community resources for those birth mothers who decide to become a parent.
- We can fully assist any birth mother or couple through the course of the pregnancy (and after) if they choose adoption.
Whatever choice you make, we are here to help.
