Dear Mary and Carl,
I am thankful that you all sent pics, I just wanted to know how she was doing.  It was a much needed surprise for John and I, because she never leaves our thoughts and we have had a rough patch lately.  It warms our hearts and puts us at ease that she is thriving so well and that you guys love her so much :-) I just want to reiterate how much of a blessing you all have been in our lives.  I love you all so much and words really can't express how I or John are feeling right now.  It's good to know she has such a good temperament.  I hope nothing but the best for you all.

I know in my heart that Layla is exactly where she is supposed to be.  She is with her family, with you.  The only thing that I want out of this is for Layla to be the happiest and most loved child there is.  You have given her that and I am eternally grateful that you family has been sch a big part of my life and helped me become the person I am today.
