Attachment Training Series for Mental Health Professionals
The Attachment Training Series (ATS) is designed to provide intensive training to therapists and clinicians working with traumatized, attachment-challenged children and their families.
The ATS curriculum focuses on exploring the relationship between trauma, attachment, and the developing brain, and how unhealthy patterns of attachment ultimately influence behaviors and family relationships. Utilizing a model founded in empathy and positive regard for the family, participants will learn interventions to enhance the relationship between the child and the parents. The ATS facilitators will work with participants to develop a directive style of therapy that encourages parents to be the primary healers in the lives of their children. The Attachment Training Series embraces a philosophy and approach that is not typically taught in other training programs. It will change the way that therapists work with children and families!
- Participants will receive 6 CEU hours for each day attended!
- This is an EXPERIENTIAL and interactive training.
- Licensure preferred.
- Ongoing supervision is available.
