Adoption Preparation

All parents want to be well prepared for the day when their child arrives, whether by birth or adoption. Adopting families, however, need different preparation and education about unique topics, such as identity issues, the impact of orphanage life, transracial/transcultural adjustment, and older child adoption, to name a few.  Adoptions Together has been providing families with adoption education and support since 1993 and offers a comprehensive range of programs to prepare families throughout the adoption process.

Adoptions Together offers International Adoption Preparation Courses and Domestic Adoption Preparation Courses.  Our programs meet the training requirements for the Hague Agreement.

We also provide classes on Finalizing Your Adoption for both domestic and international adoption.
