Adoptions Together

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about Adoptions Together as a resource to help you build and strengthen your family. In addition to domestic and international adoption, we offer a holistic approach to permanency including education, therapy, and other support services to all families touched by adoption, foster care, kinship care, and guardianship. Since we opened our doors in 1990, we have achieved permanency for more than 3,000 children and supported thousands of families post-permanency.

Every child deserves a loving, permanent family. For 20 years, Adoptions Together has been a leader in child and family welfare with its comprehensive approach to creating and maintaining a lifelong family connection for every child, every step of the way. Support services, including training and counseling, are available at locations in Maryland, Virginia, and DC.

Program for Expectant Parents: counseling and other resources for birth parents considering adoption
Domestic Adoption Program: finding families for Infants, Older Children and Sibling Groups
International Adoption Program: finding families for children living in orphanages in Asia and Eastern Europe. Received Hague Accreditation on February 29, 2008 and permanent Accreditation in Russia in December 2007.
Center for Adoptive Families: strengthening relationships created by adoption through counseling and educational programs that build families and keep them strong.
The Post-Permanency Family Center: providing support and information to the adoption/guardianship community in the Washington DC metro area.
